The Risk Mitigation section provides a centralized location to review and manage all Recommended and Preventive Actions associated with an FMEA worksheet.
This area enables teams to monitor mitigation activities, track progress, and ensure that risk reduction efforts are completed in a timely manner.
How it Works
Within the Risk Management Suite, navigate to the Risk Mitigation section and select the Recommended Actions button to access this feature. This view consolidates all Recommended and Preventive Actions associated with the worksheet into a single location, making it easier to review, track, and manage mitigation activities.
Key Capabilities
Action Monitoring
- Users can monitor the progress of mitigation actions as they move through their lifecycle, from Open to Completed. This visibility helps teams quickly identify actions that are still pending and require follow-up.
Traceability of Mitigation Activities
- The summary provides full traceability for both completed and outstanding actions. All mitigation activities are organized by the associated worksheet row, allowing users to clearly see how each action relates to a specific risk or failure mode.
Progress Tracking
- By displaying both completed and pending items together, teams can easily evaluate the current status of mitigation efforts and ensure accountability for outstanding tasks.
Sorting and Filtering
Users can sort and filter records using multiple columns, including:
Responsibility
Status
Completion Date
Worksheet Row
Other available attributes
These options allow users to quickly locate items, identify overdue actions, or focus on tasks assigned to specific team members.
Benefits
Centralized visibility of all mitigation actions
Improved tracking and accountability
Clear traceability between risks and mitigation activities
Faster identification of outstanding or overdue tasks
Flexible sorting and filtering to match user preferences
This feature supports effective risk management oversight by ensuring mitigation actions are visible, traceable, and actively managed until completion.
